To become a Certified Installer, a candidate must have at least three years of experience as an installer and complete all sessions online at NWFA University. Upon completion, the installer attends a 5-day hands-on course for classroom hours, workshops, and testing. The LGK installer then practiced and performed flooring installations which are proctored and graded by an NWFA master certified member.

To maintain this elite certification, it is mandatory for the LGK Certified Installers to earn three Continuing Certification Units (CCUs) per year. Obtaining CCUs ensures that the LGK Certified Professional remains knowledgeable on the latest tools and techniques in this evolving industry.
